Short Stories

My style with short stories is, well, short. Straddling the line between flash fiction and traditonal short story, these bite sized pieces of writing have been described as having tight dialogue and often have a focus on imagery. Average word count is 1600 words.

The Great Blue Dragon- An arrogant knight picks a fight with a dragon who has acted as the kingdom's golden goose, will he win and claim its treasure, or find himself crushed?
A Girl And Her Automaton- An exercise in imagery. A young girl shows her automaton nanny a rock she found.
The Sea Stone- A stone is buffeted by waves and picked apart by sea creatures. Will someone help it?
Mike's Exotics- A woman takes her orphaned brother to an exotic pet store to cheer him up.
A Bride for Me Before A Bride For You- A queer retelling of The Lindworm, a Danish fairytale.
Vampire's Feast- A vampire goes out clubbing in a new place for the first time in years.(new!!!)
